Megan De La Rosa Joins Southwest Public Policy Institute Board Of Directors

The Southwest Public Policy Institute is pleased to announce today that Megan De La Rosa has joined the organization’s board of directors.

Albuquerque, NM (November 28, 2022) – The Southwest Public Policy Institute (SPPI), the leading public policy think tank in the American Southwest, is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan De La Rosa to the Institute’s Board of Directors. 

Megan has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for New Mexicans and all who reside in the Southwest region by providing sound, data-driven policies that will positively impact lives for generations to come. Southwestern Americans should feel safe in a region where they can live, work, and raise a family. Megan believes that we live in the land of opportunity, and she is confident future generations will prosper and continue to honor our heritage.

As a native New Mexican, Megan has lived through the ups and downs New Mexico has faced. She sees economic diversification, crime, and education reform as top priorities for the Institute. New Mexico has a unique economic layout; our wealth of energy, strong military, and technology opportunities underscore the potential of our great state.

More about Megan De La Rosa

Megan De La Rosa is a co-founder and principal at Crude Intelligence Group, LLC. Megan started her career working in the New Mexico House of Representatives. She served as a regional political director on the re-election campaign for Governor Susana Martinez, going on to serve in an official capacity as Executive Assistant as well as Briefing and Advance Coordinator. Megan serves as the Public Affairs Director for Governor Susana Martinez, Executive Director for the Kirtland Partnership Committee and is a New Mexico Amigo. Megan’s time in state government has positioned her to work with and maneuver many industries and levels of government.

Megan has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology and has been recognized by the New Mexico State Legislature for her accomplishments. Her recognition and respect from both sides of the aisle have provided her with extensive business contacts throughout the state and nation. She frequently consults as a political strategist for state legislative caucuses, contributing to the passing of significant legislation.
