Today marks the start of the 2025 New Mexico legislative session, and the Southwest Public Policy Institute (SPPI) is ready to work advocating for policies that advance liberty and opportunity for all New Mexicans. The session officially convenes at noon, and I’m honored to join Senator Craig Brandt as his guest on the Senate floor for opening day.
This photo, taken with Senator Brandt during the 2023 legislative session, reminds me of the shared commitment to bringing real change to our state. As a long-time advocate for school choice and other conservative priorities, Senator Brandt’s leadership will be instrumental in the coming weeks. SPPI is proud to collaborate with him and other key legislators in the Senate and the House.
Throughout this 60-day session, SPPI will be on the ground in Santa Fe, working closely with lawmakers to advance our 2025 New Mexico Prosperity & Opportunity Agenda. From empowering education choice and safeguarding property rights to championing fiscal responsibility and fostering economic innovation, we are committed to making a lasting impact.
Stay tuned to SPPI for updates, insights, and ways to get involved as we work to create a freer, more prosperous New Mexico.
