SPPI Receives 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid

The Southwest Public Policy Institute (SPPI) has been awarded the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly Guidestar), the premier recognition for nonprofit transparency and accountability.

The Platinum Seal is the highest level of distinction offered by Candid, achieved by fewer than 1% of registered nonprofits nationwide. It recognizes organizations that provide clear, comprehensive information about their operations, impact, and outcomes to donors, funders, and the public.

“Transparency and accountability are at the heart of our mission,” said Patrick M. Brenner, President of SPPI. “Earning the Platinum Seal of Transparency demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that every dollar entrusted to us is used effectively to advance freedom, opportunity, and prosperity in the American Southwest.”

SPPI focuses its research on issues including consumer advoacy, financial inclusivity, economic development, and government accountability. Its work has been recognized in national media outlets and cited in policy debates throughout the region and across the country.

Supporters can explore SPPI’s updated nonprofit profile, including program information, financials, and impact metrics, on Candid’s website at: https://www.guidestar.org/profile/88-2196936.
